MANTR (Mentorship Action for Nurturing, Training, and Resilience)
Objective & Background : MANTR aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations by establishing a structured mentorship program. Successful technocrats, especially alumni, will mentor students in engineering colleges, polytechnics, and ITIs across Madhya Pradesh, fostering holistic development and resilience.
Key Components : The program includes a robust mentorship framework involving mentor identification, student pairing, and structured activities like guidance sessions, workshops, and project support. Mentors will receive orientation, and a digital portal will facilitate resources, scheduling, and feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
Implementation Strategy : MANTR will begin with stakeholder engagement involving academic institutions, alumni networks, and industry bodies. A statewide awareness campaign will promote the initiative, followed by a pilot phase in select institutions. Based on its success, the program will scale across the state.
Expected Outcomes : The initiative is expected to enhance student employability, promote personal and professional growth, strengthen alumni relations, and build a culture of mentorship and continuous learning, ultimately contributing to a resilient and industry-ready workforce.
Conclusion : MANTR leverages the experience of technocrats to mentor the next generation, aligning education with real-world demands. By fostering strong academia-industry ties, it positions Madhya Pradesh as a leader in innovation and excellence in technical education.
